Online Not so Silent "We Got This" Silent Auction

COOKIES, A PURSE, AN ELEGANT CAPE & A CUSTOM NECKLACE!

 

If we act together, we can do anything when we collaborate and put our minds to it!

In that way we will not be outdone by a ‘bug’ that is actually strong enough to show us our weaknesses.  We are stronger when we work together, “for women alone understand the height, the depth, the breadth of...the FAWCO sisterhood!

 

With the words from the Seneca Falls Suffragettes, your FAWCO Foundation has reimagined our traditional Silent Auction into a series of small events over the next few months.  Online we will host a Not So Silent “We Got This” Silent Auction (SA).

In May, we will auction off GIRL SCOUT COOKIES!!!!! Really, thin mints, samosas, all the gooey good ones. In Europe or the US, you will be able to satisfy your quarantine GS Cookie dreams!

The money from this first SA will go to kick off the fundraising efforts for our new  Target Project: S.A.F.E.!

 

 

In July, we will auction off the beautiful MCM purse that was generously donated by Suzanne Wheeler for our high-end raffle at the Luxembourg IM.

 

TSA3hese funds will go to support the Foundation’s Development Grants and Education Awards.

 

 

 

In September, we will auction off a Spanish cape made by the famous Spanish cape makers, a family-owned business, Capas Seseña: 115 years perfecting an icon of elegance and modernity, The Cape.

Finally, in November at the super regional in Luxembourg, we will offer the necklace handcrafted by Russian artist and jewelry designer Lada Azarh made of leather embroidered with Czech beads, black agate, hematite,

mother of pearl, pearl and tinted agate crystals.

How will this work?

Carol-Lyn McKelvey, our fearless Silent Auction coordinator from AIWC Cologne/FAUSA will handle this auction. She will determine which days in May, July and September to hold the auction, as well as set the deadlines for bidding and announce the winners.  Bidding will be taken via email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. We will advertise on all of the FAWCO and Foundation facebook pages and in our newsletters. Carol-Lyn will post on our facebook pages and also create an email list to notify all the bidders of the highest bid at the end of each day. We hope this will be a fun way to stay connected while also doing good in the world!
