Donations and Funding - An Introduction

Fundraising efforts for The FAWCO Foundation have traditionally relied on the continued generosity of Member Clubs and individuals to maintain FAWCO’s philanthropic programs. Contributions/donations may be designated to Education Awards, Development Grants, Kids Help, General Fund, Memorial Funds, the Endowment Fund and/or any other established fund or project in any given year.

Primary Avenues of Funding

• Silent & Live Auctions and a Quilt Raffle are three lively and popular events that are conducted at annual FAWCO Conferences. The FAWCO Foundation donates a percentage of the Silent Auction proceeds to a charity selected by the Conference Host Club; this is a unique opportunity for FAWCO to contribute to a local project supported by the Conference Host Club.

• Education Awards & Development Grants Sponsorships are opportunities for Clubs and individuals to underwrite or sponsor in part an Award or Development Grant. To learn more about these valuable programs, see our Education Awards and Development Grants pages.
  

• Special Fundraising Projects are efforts organized by The FAWCO Foundation to reach annual philanthropic goals as well as help cover the operating costs of maintaining FAWCO’s philanthropic programs. Past projects include the Emergency Relief Fund, Kids Help Fund and the One Member, One Tree Campaign.
