Who may nominate a project for a Development Grant?
FAWCO Member Clubs and FAUSA may nominate a project for a grant.
How many projects may a FAWCO Member club or FAUSA nominate each year?
Each FAWCO Member Club and FAUSA may nominate up to two projects each year.

Can a project be submitted in two categories?
No, the project may only be nominated in one category.
How many times can a project be nominated?
If a project has not been awarded a development grant it can be re-nominated the next year. If it has been awarded a Development Grant, it may not be re-nominated for three years.

Go to The FAWCO Foundation website. Click on “Programs” and go to “Development Grants”. In the box “click” on “How to Nominate a Project”. Read the directions and complete the Online Nomination form. When the application is complete, click the “submit” button.
Why must I print the checklist?
The checklist must be signed by your club’s president. This is to insure that she knows that the project is being nominated in the name of your club.
Why must I print two copies of the Online Nomination form?
One copy is for your files, the second copy is sent, along with the checklist to the Development Grants Administrator.
What is the address of the Development Grants Administrator?
To receive the postal address for the Development Grants Administrator, you must email her.
How are the Development Grants recipients selected?
Once the online nomination form has been received, a member of the Nominations Review committee checks the application to be sure that it is complete and that the information is accurate. Once the review is complete, a summary of the project is placed on a ballot. The recipient in each category is determined by a vote of all FAWCO Member clubs.
Where can I find the summaries and the ballot of all of the nominated projects?
The summaries of all of the Development Grants nominees along with the ballot are placed on the FAWCO Foundation website around the first of February.
Who can vote for the recipients of the Development Grants?
Any FAWCO club may vote for the recipients. Each club may vote for one nominee in each Development Grant category.
Can individuals vote for the recipients of the Development Grants?
No, only FAWCO member clubs may vote for the recipients.
